Project News

Hi to all who visit..

So, you know when you have some time on you're hands and you've not really planned to do anything, well the only thing to do is write a song! And that what I did with 3 whole days free..

Day 1: pick up a pen and start thinking of ideas with the acoustic in easy reach, and by the end of the day, "Bingo"

Day 2: This is the busiest day really. Planning out and setting up your instruments, setting up Mics, tweaking guitar FX to the desired sound and putting together a basic beat while recording.

Day 3: Had a few retakes I wanted to do, followed by constructing my drum kit that I thought would sound appropriate for this track and tapped out the drums (no space for real drum kit unfortunately) and mixed the track as best I could on the day..

I left this for the weekend to remix and master the track and were done!

I'm quite pleased with the results, tested on a few friends and if it brought a smile, it had the desired effect I was looking for so, decided to release it.

Going Somewhere will be available on all major streaming platforms 18th July..
